What does MTS hope for ministry leaders?

Ministry Training Source (MTS) seeks to advance the formation and education of lay ecclesial ministers within the church by:

  • Enabling the integration of online and E-learning technologies within ministry formation programs... so that formation can be accessible and flexible;
  • Utilizing national competency-based standards for lay ministers in development of curriculum and assessment... so that formation is of the highest quality;
  • Grounding all programs and services in the most current research in the fields of educational technology, lay ministry formation, and adult education... so that formation is relevant;
  • Integrating theological reflection into all programs on Scripture and tradition... so that formation results in theologically and spiritually prepared ministers.

What solutions can MTS provide for you or your organization?

MTS customized solutions include assessment, consultation, training, and resource development.
